That's incredible. It's good that we have guys like Paul Allen and
Elon Musk thinking out of the box and capable of funding their own R&D
for this kind of project.

Elon is highly funded by the taxpayers. Of his 3 businesses, all depend on
huge subsidies. Solar, Tesla, and Space X. Space X, has crap testing,
documentation, and a lock because they are the only US company.

What? A corporation receiving a subsidy? Here in 'Merica? I'm shocked.

American forestry interests continually convince your rulers to throw tariffs on our lumber exports on the pretense that we provide subsidies to them. Canada wins every time we go to GATT to dispute this but 'murica seems to feel it's above international dispute mechanisms.

The biggest subsidy you have to the lumber industry is your ability to
ignore tree huggers. Your government understands trees are crops.

"The U.S. lumber industry has argued for decades that because most Canadian timber is harvested on
Crown lands, the way provincial governments manage and set prices for these harvests results in
cheaper lumber.

"Today's ruling confirms that Canadian lumber mills are subsidized by their government and benefit
from timber pricing policies and other subsidies which harm U.S. manufacturers and workers,"

I wonder if Don White disputes that.

Who's ruling?
Everytime we have gone to International arbitration, we win but murica doesn't feel it has to abide by GATT rulings
BTW..In Nova Scotia most lumber is harvested from private rather than Crown lands. Thus we were granted an exception from your bullying till now. Trump has just slapped a 24 percent tariff against us. Maybe the civilized world should do the same to murican products.
