I don't have at home. We decided we would rather have an extra
cabinet. The one here in this house really sucks. It doesn't seem to get anything very clean. I guess the tip off should have been in the "book" for renters. It says right there "wash dishes and put in dish washer" in the check out instructions. This thing seems to be about as effective as just running them under the hot water from the faucet. |

My wife refuses to wash the dishes by hand so when the door latch assembly went south a couple years ago I contacted the repair guy. He said three days before he could come. I drove over the bridge to the parts depot, found the correct part and came home to install it myself. It was either that or start washing the dishes. |

It was built like a tank and did a great job until it broke for the second time. Hard to find anyone to work on it. Bought a Bosch to take its place. They are very quiet and do a good job cleaning. We've been happy with it. |

Most dishwashers have a pair of hollow blades inside that spin and from which the washing water emanates. The blades have very small holes in them. Sometimes those holes get clogged. When they do, the efficiency of the dishwasher drops drastically. The blades usually are removable and can be flushed out. Our 10 year old Maytag does a good job of cleaning. |

After reading your comments, I googled cleaning Maytag dishwaters online. Wow...a lot of crud can collect down in the filters. Might be time to get my hands dirty. |
