Interesting idea in the Snooze Press
There is a guy in Sanibel who wrote a joke letter to the editor saying
Trump should fund his wall with a Go Fund Me page. It is not a horrible idea. If all of the true believers sent him 20 bucks he would go a long way towards building that wall and not spend a dime of my money on it. By a like token, if everyone ****ed about sitting in traffic would send the state $10 they could fix the damned bridge. |

Berkeley was the first city to enforce a soda tax. Stated it would all be used for child obesity and child health. But goes in the general fund. Mayor said they were going to use it to fund budget shortfall. Big stink, so mayor and council have backed off. I guess since it is in the general fund is legal to divert. But I would like to see a fraud indictment on any council official that's diverts any of the money. They stated it would only be used for child obesity, etc. to get the tax passed. Seems like a great case for fraud. |
