I doubt we will actually have another "world war" in the classical war of attrition sense. It will not be long before it degrades into a nuclear holocaust and that may only last a few hours. The only question with N Korea is whether that exchange will be limited or planet killing. If Kim decides to hit Hawaii or Alaska I doubt there will be many people left alive in North Korea but if it is just S Korea or Japan there may be a little wiggle room. The real issue is how we manage to attack N Korea without too much collateral damage in China and South Korea. I imagine we might go for the enhanced radiation weapons. (Aka Neutron bombs) |
