Gosh, I wonder what the murder rate is among white atheists and agnostics, compared to white christians.  If you assume all of those drug dealers, addicts, armed robbers and bums have given up on Jesus, I bet it is pretty high. People "find god" when they want to stop those activities or get out of jail. Many right-wing evangelicals have given up on jesus, apparently. Giving up on jesus, by the way, doesn't make you an atheist or agnostic. Most christians are christians in name only. Stop tap dancing. Reality about "the religious" sucks, eh? Too bad. |
