Looks like someone is wanting to make a movie about the ill-fated end of sail boat racer Donald Crowhurst. I really can't see how they could do it and be remotely factual but at least it'll be a movie...

Maybe they call it a hoax when actually it was cheating but anyhow, the way I read it, he was planning on taking the money and attempting to save his business. It didn't happen...

Bet he'd wished he'd stayed at home, taken the loss and lived.

Sounds like something Krause would try, Except Crowhurst did the honorable thing and disappeared.
