It *is* turning colder though, with temps dropping well below freezing at night. BTW ... ol' Sam Adams is no longer with us. He developed some kind of growth or tumor in his spine that caused his hind legs to spasm and sometimes give out on him. I nursed him along for the past 7 months when this first began ... built a ramp for him to get in and out of the house (he could no longer do stairs) but it continued to get worse. He was approaching 12 years old, had other issues as well and even the vet said it was time. He was a great dog. Miss having him around. Sorry about that. Losing a pet is not an easy thing. I cried when I lost a cat I had for 16 years. |

Squirrel and his dimwitted buddy, Bullwinkle the Moose, from Frostbite Falls, Minnesota. It's the one I use mostly with old friends who remember the cartoon show, but I also use it on other occasions. The mindspring account is long gone. Mindspring was absorbed by Earthlink but has since disappeared, I believe. |
