The two longest wars in U.S. history Whixch the prevailing presidet promised to end but has escalated? The worst record of job creation since Herbert Hoover It'ss still no good. Record-breaking growth in the deficits Presently with record breaking debt... Impoverishment of the middle class Still is. Rolling back of safety and environmental protections last year EPA flooded more than one river with heavy metals with no real penalty. All things which should result in cheers from Americans who told you s. No one has really cheered for years, Harry. There you go again, beating him over the head with well stated facts. If I lost the bet the check would have been in the mail yesterday. I would stick to your guns and not forward your mailing address to Harry. He seems to like building a database of where people live. He's been trying to figure Justan's address out for years, to no avail. I like to think of Harry as a mushroom. Keep him in the dark andcover him with manure. :-) Any snow up there yet? No! It *is* turning colder though, with temps dropping well below freezing at night. BTW ... ol' Sam Adams is no longer with us. He developed some kind of growth or tumor in his spine that caused his hind legs to spasm and sometimes give out on him. I nursed him along for the past 7 months when this first began ... built a ramp for him to get in and out of the house (he could no longer do stairs) but it continued to get worse. He was approaching 12 years old, had other issues as well and even the vet said it was time. He was a great dog. Miss having him around. Sorry about that. Losing a pet is not an easy thing. I cried when I lost a cat I had for 16 years. That made me think of animals I've cried over...cat, dogs, crow, rabbit, calf, and lastly, our pet pig. But, I have to admit I partook in the eating of the pig. You didn't eat the calf? To tell you the truth, I don't know. Mayflower, my calf, died in the barn on my grandfather's farm one night. My grandfather thought her head had been stepped on by one of the cows, or at least that was the story. What he did with it, I don't know. I was only about 7 years old then. We probably ate veal burgers, and I didn't know any better. |

Your moma trained you right. " dont take candy from a stranger". And boy is Krause strange. Tell us more about his washrack nonsense. Krause was paying the marina for trailer storage on a lot across the road from the marina. But, by paying off the forklift operators his boat was being left on the wash rack right by the launch ramp. Whenever he wanted the boat, he'd get the lift operator to launch it for him rather than trailer it down and back it in. The problem, from my perspective, was that his boat was taking up about 25% of the wash racks, meaning the rest of the customers had to wait even longer to have their boats retrieved and put on a rack for washing. So one day I mentioned to the boss that Harry's boat was always on the wash rack. He called in the lift operator to find out what was going on. All of a sudden there was an additional wash rack availabe for everyone's use. Maybe the lift operators were union guys, but I don't think so. |
