Tim is not even asking for the death penalty, just the life sentence Hinkley deserves for first degree murder. They could retry him now for murdering Brady since he is cured and is able to assist in his defense. He was never charged with that so double jeopardy is not an issue. Ahh, another christian...(probably not). === Harry Krause, self proclaimed aetheist/agnostic, now feels qualified to interpret christianity and christian intent. That's a piece of irony. While you're at it be sure to understand this: "Render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar's." If Christians supposedly follow the teachings of Jesus in regard to their humanity and how they treat others, then Christianity is a failure and you are a failed christian, as are most of your buddies here and probably in the world. I know you just love to others with everything you can find. Maybe to try to make you feel better about yourself, but of course you fail to recognize that law and forgiveness are two different entities. Why bother to call yourself a follower of jesus if you aren't. |
