Great tagline....(c;

It's even 52 in Charleston! It just feels wet and cold, even though the
sky is clear. I even got HEAT running!

Yeah... I just got back from Hilton Head yesterday. It was a great
Fri-Sat at 80+ degrees, but the trip home Sun evening was rainy, and
today in the midlands of SC it is turning cold. Tonight and tomorrow
night we'll have a chance of frost.

That's no fun. Last couple of years I was still getting in a ski run
this time of year. The summers are getting colder, earlier. Damn
global cooling... :-)

It's 50F here. The wife is after me to finally install the new electric
baseboard heater in the upstairs bathroom and turn all the electric heat
breakers back on. Guess I'd better do it soon.

It's only 2 degrees F cooler in Nova Scotia than coastal South Carolina?!
Amazing....

Yup. Must be all that hot air/water coming up in the Gulf Stream.
Just think how warm it would be here if the Labrador Current didn't push
your Gulf Stream 200 miles off our coast.

note: at 8am our time it was 50 degrees.... still cooler than the water.

For some reason I parsed that as install the new electric baseboard
heater in the outhouse.

I don't know - it's early in the morning.

I'm city folk...... unlike you country boys.
Lived all my life with indoor plumbing...except for yearly visits to
grandparents in Cape Breton. Then we used the outhouse.

Ya, it's been cold here at Lake Hartwell too. My mother in NH reported
about the same temps we had yesterday. Today looks like it may be a little
better.
