My opinion Again, how christian of you. Maybe he also read the first few books of the Bible too. Tim is not even asking for the death penalty, just the life sentence Hinkley deserves for first degree murder. They could retry him now for murdering Brady since he is cured and is able to assist in his defense. He was never charged with that so double jeopardy is not an issue. Ahh, another christian...(probably not). I guess you don't know much about the history of the christians. Jesus may have been the only one who ever turned the other cheek and you think he is a fantasy. They have been vengeful SOBs for the last ~2000 years. When you actually look at recidivism rates, it is not an unreasonable position that this guy should stay in custody. If shooting a president is not just cause for keeping someone locked up, we might as well open the doors and let them all go. The only reason he was "insane" is he was a rich white guy. I am surprised that escaped you. "Jamal Jackson" would have been executed before Reagan was reelected. |
