Make an assassination attempt on a US President, and eventually you get freed. Amazing lunacy! One of the janitors at the nut house said he thinks Hinkley is harmless so the let him go conditionally. He's not allowed near the white house. He must notify the secret service of the route he will take to his psyche appointments in DC . He can't go near the hotel where he tried to assasinate Regan. Is everyone in DC crazy? === I can't even begin to imagine the cost to the public of all the monitoring that is going to be required. |

Maybe he also read the first few books of the Bible too. Tim is not even asking for the death penalty, just the life sentence Hinkley deserves for first degree murder. They could retry him now for murdering Brady since he is cured and is able to assist in his defense. He was never charged with that so double jeopardy is not an issue. |
