BAO trusts the police to respond before anything bad can happen to him. I hope he is right but they usually just show up in time to take a report and, maybe, call the coroner. The number of these crimes that are actually closed is frighteningly small. Can not get a CCW license here. But years ago, in the 1970's I kept one on the seat of the car. Worked midnight to 8 fixing computers. And 4 of the Zebra Killings were within 6 blocks of my office. Parked under the light at the entrance and checked the surroundings before exiting. |
