I see you are closing in on Lake Ontario. You had just passed under

take to get from Albany to the lake but it is a very winding path.
For some reason, I always thought they just dug a canal from Albany to
Oswego or something. I see now they take advantage of a lot of natural
waterways.

What is it you are watching, aside from dots on a map?

I suppose if you do not have the intellectual curiosity to actually
find out things about the route that you did not know, it is boring.
I know several things about the Atlantic ICW and the Erie canal that I
did not know before.

Oh, I thought there were videos or snapshots attached, and that I just
didn't see any because I was using a Mac, and I was just seeing dots....I
guess I got spoiled by my Apple "friend" app, which gives me an aerial
map of where my friends are and also shows movement on the map.

There is a google earth picture there if you click on it but you could
also do a little research on your own to answer any questions you
have.

My question really was whether my Mac wasn't passing through videos and
such. It was just a passing thought, as I am not particularly interested
in The Voyages of Wayne.

Of course not... after all, it's real boating.

I tried fishing on the Hudson, up around Kingston but I didn't catch
anything. I did a lot better in the Susquehanna in Binghamton. (Small
mouth bass)

I fished twice in Saratoga Lake north of Albany and caught a couple of
fish there one time, but I don't remember what they were. I was about
nine years old. Maybe smallies?

There would be one dot on your "friend" app. Don at home. Enjoy!

That's fine. Just resist the overwhelming temptation to respond to
every post with negativity. You can do it! If you need support, the
Dr. is upstairs.

Dunno. I was really hoping for one of those monster fish people talk
about but I got little bass that we might use for bait here. They were
legal so I ate a few. Tossed the rest back. I had my 15# class
graphite spinning rod (spinning rod on a bait caster blank) so it was
a bit overkill. I do have a little 4# class rod I had made for me that
would have been a better match.
