Yes, that's a very cool plan, one that I would dearly love to emulate. It's on my bucket list but the odds are not good. That doesn't stop me from dreaming, scheming and speculating however. It appears that climate change is acting to make southern Greenland more ice free, so that would be a plus.. There are some horrific stories about good sized boats, well sailed, becoming frozen in pack ice off the coast of Greenland even in mid-summer. Sometimes with a trip like that you just have to go for it and hope that luck is on your side. If I could get as far as Iceland and the Faroe Islands the rest of the trip is all down hill.
