Default April showers ... brings out the shovels

Snowed pretty much all day yesterday. Â*Not overly heavy, but persistent.
Total snowfall this morning ... April 5th for cripes sake ... was 6 to 8
inches.

"Temps will stay in low 30's during the day today, dropping to the low
20's overnight.

Then a warm-up with another low coming through on Wednesday with the
forecasts of over an inch of rain. Â*Flood time."

Got up early (for me) this morning to brush and scrape the snow and ice
off my Highlander. Had an 0830 appointment at the local Toyota dealer to
have the front hood seal replaced under warranty. Toyota rubber gaskets
don't seem to like the chemicals sprayed on during yearly application of
Krown Rustproofing. Got home and had to shovel the front steps and spread
rock salt on the city sidewalk in front of my house. Yes...this is the
service we are forced to pay extra for since 2013-2014.

6 pm and still have the slider open. 73 today, supposed to be 83 tomorrow
with rain on Friday.
