Years ago we leased a Honda Del Sol and I fit in that car fine -

of legroom. I still preferred the Jeep Grand Cherokee we had at

When I saw the mention of Honda, I checked some S 2000 prices. Holy

things are expensive! And they probably don't have any room either.

That car was discontinued over 5 years ago. I thought it was a nice
looking roadster!
Me too. But the prices for the damn thing are unreal. I'm thinking a
15 year old
Honda should be in the $3-5K range, if it's in good shape. These
things go for five
times that - much more than Z3's.

The Z3 was not a home run for BMW. I'm still surprised the S2000, or a
replacement, isn't on the market.

The Z3 and the Z4 are regarded as "girly" cars in some circles.
My wife had a Z4. I had a Porsche. :-)

As pure driver's cars, BMW went downhill after the corporation decided
it wanted to offer luxury alternatives to Mercedes. The best pure
driving machines it offered were the 2002ti and one of the "5" series,
maybe the early 535s. After that, the company got into "plush."
