Bingo! Maybe Ditzy thinks the cameras have an X-ray option to look through the boat and see what's behind the trailer.

On the other hand, a wifi camera positioned temporarily on the boat's stern and with the receiver screen on the dash might make backing into a narrow area enjoyable. Maybe I can get the wider boat after all.

If you take your time, you can focus on the widest part of the trailer, watch it
through the driver's side mirror, and keep it within a couple inches of whatever
you're worried about hitting. If you keep the driver's side close, you don't need to
worry about the other side of the trailer.

When I get new tires on the RV (a lot bigger than a small boat trailer), I have to
back it into the bay with about 6" to spare on each side. Yeah, I don't get it right
the first time, but I've not hit anything...yet.
