True, I went through a phase of having some high performance cars but they aren't very practical unless you have a race track in your back yard. I am also at least 10 years older now and don't have the need for speed or neck snapping acceleration. |

(a competitive "street stock" drag racer, then a Corvette) I still like zippy little cars but my old Honda Prelude is plenty for me and it is good on gas. |

If someone gave me a Z3, I'd take it. But I'm not wild about the styling of the Z4. Maybe I'm just a 'softy'. -- Ban liars, tax cheats, juvenile name-callers, and narcissists...not guns! |

They have changed a lot. It's the wife's car, anyway. I wanted her to get the SL550. It's larger and safer, IMO. |

Did the Z3 undergo significant design changes during its production? I'll admit that I'd take the SL550, or even the SL400 if offered. |

It was a rag top and now a retractable hardtop (interesting engineering!). You wouldn't fit well in any of them. They are all very small cars. I'm 6'4" and avoid driving that car whenever possible. It's not only small inside, it's LOW. |

Even my wife's Jetta has a lot of leg room, although it is low also. I used to be 6'4", but now have to stretch to get to 6'3". -- Ban liars, tax cheats, juvenile name-callers, and narcissists...not guns! |

He is barely 6ft nowadays, thanks to his osteopenia which has most likely progressed to osteoporosis. God help the poor little fella.?? Wonder if he uses blocks under his folding desk chair.
