These days I have to get out and stretch my legs after an hours drive. I couldn't imagine driving cross country. It would take me forever. The time we went out there we spent three very enjoyable days on the road, arriving in Moab, UT, on the fourth day of travel. There is a lot to see and experience all across this country, just as there is all across Canada. We stop about every 100 miles, or sooner if we want to see something. My pickup has enough leg room to stretch them out plenty! We visited Colorado National Monument, Arches National Park (NP), Canyonlands NP, Bryce Canyon NP, Zion NP, Grand Canyon NP (North Rim), Zion NP, Capitol Reef NP, Dead Horse Point State Park, Antelope Canyon, Monument Valley, and a few other spots going and coming. A month long trip, and a lot of fun. Of course, some would think that flying over those spots would be much more enjoyable. -- Ban liars, tax cheats, juvenile name-callers, and narcissists...not guns! Seeing the country through an airplane window is the preferred mode for krause. He can see what you saw in a small fraction of the time. And he saves a small fortune to boot. That's very important to a guy who is up to his eyeballs in debt and has zero assets to show for it. Do you really envy Krause and his lifestyle? I sincerely hope not. -- . ----Android NewsGroup Reader---- http://usenet.sinaapp.com/ I hope I didn't leave the impression I envied Krause's flying abilities! As for his lack of assets, I thought Krause owned a Wal Mart printer. -- Spending an entire month pulling a motel room on wheels and visiting parks has zero appeal to me. Of course, since both of you had military careers where you accomplished nothing, it isn't surprising that the mindlessness of driving around for a month is something you find appealing. "If it's Tuesday, we must be in some other park." Yawn. |

With a bit of effort, you could have done something with your life also. And, for the record, after the military I went to GWU for a M.Ed degree. Once certified, I was a teacher. I subbed for several years after retiring from Fairfax County. But you probably knew that. You have a propensity for lying. I think Luddite called you out for lying about him in the same manner, no? -- Ban liars, tax cheats, juvenile name-callers, and narcissists...not guns! |
