Default My new ride this summer

when I'm not out on the new Bayliner Bow Rider.
This boat didn't cost a whole lot more than my little 17 and a half foot runabout but club costs, mooring fees, pull outs and launches etc would probably double or triple my yearly costs.

Pretty boat and a lot prettier than some of the "land yachts" a couple
of the assholes here have instead of boats.

Definitely prettier. But he'd have a hard time visiting Bryce Canyon with it!

Just to be sure there's no confusion....I don't own this sailboat. I have an even better deal....I get to ride for free.
owner needs crew (I've crewed with him on his last two sailboats). He used to travel down to the Washington area for most of July in past years and we had full use of his boats while he was gone. The rest of the summer...he tries to get maximum use from the boat. My biggest worry will be having enough time to enjoy my new Bayliner and getting away from the city for road trips.

Yeah, because dragging a motel room on wheels nearly 3000 miles from the
Maritimes to Utah is something he'd want to do...Hell, it's gotta be
nearly 2500 miles from the DC area. 5000 miles round trip, at least,
what an awful way to waste vacation time, driving the interstates or worse.

These days I have to get out and stretch my legs after an hours drive. I couldn't imagine driving cross country. It would take me forever.
