Sell it to Tim for parts and buy a decent rifle that shoots cheap
russian ammo:

To what purpose?

Easy to load, cheap ammo, better quality than the Mosin you cannot load

Missed the other question.

Learn to read. I didn't say I couldn't load it. And I didn't say I couldn't shoot it.

Tell us about your 'Vietnam service', or was that just another lie?

Harry, how much incompetence does it take to accumulate a couple of
bankruptcies and a bunch of IRS tax liens?

There you go. You try to help the guy out and you received a double douse of his rancor for your troubles.
I don't know why you bother.

What is 'douse'?

I bet if you look around a little you could find the Soviet training
manual and the procedure they were taught. You were in the army, you
know they drilled this until they could do it in their sleep.

It's not that hard with the regular infantry version. A stripper makes the job pretty
easy. The sniper version has the scope mounted so that the stripper won't work. So
it's one round at a time, with the scope in the way. I suppose the snipers weren't in
a big hurry to reload. One or two rounds and they were out of there. The sniper
version is a much smoother operating gun though.
