Rubio is a joke. Not sure he even shaves yet. Christie is struggling to remain viable by shooting his mouth off. Cruz is trying to scare the **** out of everyone. Trump just keep bragging about the company he built. Carson ? Not exactly sure why he's even there. Jeb and Kashich are probably the most sane but neither are going anywhere. The moderators screwed up the introductions. Then they completely forgot about Kasich. The moderators questions are speeches. They take more time asking a question than the candidate has time to answer. Rachel and Chuck Todd did an outstanding job in contrast at the Democratic debate. Anyway, the Democratic debate was how it's supposed to be done. The moderators shut their mouths and allowed Hillary and Bernie to go at it. They did, but maintained a professional respect for each other. ------- There was another debate tonight? Huh, I must have missed another one. Oh well... Since you have no interest in politics, it probably is best you watch cartoons. There are alternatives to watching the boob tube. Perhaps Tim was otherwise occupied in something more worthwhile. The staged "debates' are political theater. Nothing really important is going to come out of them. That went away after Perot cranked them up! I generally agree with most of the debates, especially the series of Republican ones this year because of the number of candidates. However, the Democratic debate the other night with just Hillary and Bernie was very good. Credit also goes to the moderators who didn't try to share the limelight by making a speech as a question. Rachel and Chuck Todd deserve kudos for a job well done. A subject was introduced and then they shut up and let Bernie and Hillary hash it out. |
