Two days ago it reached 67 degrees here. Today it is in the mid-50's.
Tomorrow we are getting 6-9 inches of snow.

We have a similar pattern here but up the scale several degrees. It is
mid 80s today and by the weekend it will be 50s-60s.

"Boy, how can someone live like that?"

Say what?
That's 'par for the course' up here. Only difference....It usually lasts about a month longer up here and we're a bit cooler and damper than the Boston States.

It does explain the number of northern license plates we see here.
It must be lonely up there, based on the number of snow birds we see
here.

Neighbours down a couple houses on the other side of our street left by auto on Saturday. Lots left. The local universities add tens of thousands of students to keep the city busy.

Yup, as the old song said. How can you live like that. I spent a winter
in Ohio, when I was 21. Friggen cold, snow, ice and no mountains to ski.

By car? I end up stuck behind them here. I figure they may arrive by
Valentines day, if they drive straight through ;-)

I will be up in the frozen north myself at the end of the month. I
promised I would take my grand daughter skiing and a promise is a
promise.
I figure it will only cost me about 4 grand ;-)
