But, temp of 22, and winds of 10-12mph does not make for great golf. Besides, the course is closed due to frost delay...probably until noon. I was in Endicott (NY) in October of 79 working at the support center and I thought a bright sunny day in the 60s would be great golf at the IBM course. After what I thought was a great tee shot on #1, I walked up over the hill and found my ball was somewhere in a snow covered fairway. The south side of the hill was green, the north side white. I went back to the car. Don't they have orange florescent balls for that? I have that problem this time of year playing fetch with our dog at the park. |
