The Lincoln Memorial, Korean War Memorial and Vietnam Memorial are especially beautiful at night. And, parking is readily available to visit those. That whole Federal Triangle area and south is well patrolled and generally safe. That is where all of the monuments are anyway and very pleasant on a warm evening. On cold nights, the steam grates tend to collect homeless people. |
