That sounds like an interesting idea until you notice it is individual stones that were not from around there. Maybe they are just a facade ... like on modern pseudo "brick" homes. :-) Hehehe. Now you are sounding like Carson. :) Carson is crazy like a fox. He'll never be POTUS and he knows it. But he *will* be rich. Oh, well *that* certainly makes him admirable, eh? Sheesh. Where did you get the notion that I admire him? Another mindless, progressive liberal knee jerk? I was simply pointing out *why* I think he is playing the role of a candidate for the nomination. |

Harry doesn't think money is important, but he plans on dying at his desk, still hustling up that stuff that isn't important to him. I have to laugh sometimes. All you have to do is type a Republican's name and Harry immediately jumps to the conclusion that it means you agree with or support the person. Makes one think that progressive liberals are paranoid by nature. I know, I said I liked Harry Browne, damned near 20 years ago and now Harry thinks I want to fire all of the meat inspectors. All I was doing was pointing out what I think is Carson's game plan. He'll make millions on books and speaking engagements after he drops out of "politics". Look at Huckabee. His previous run for the nomination resulted in a multi-year TV show on Fox, book contracts and speaking engagements. That is a long list ;-) I imagine that even a dim bulb like O'Malley will get a book deal out of this and maybe his own show on MSNBC. |

As I have stated here many times, I do indeed hope to be able to work at what I enjoy doing until I fall over and die. Many of my friends are doing the same. I don't get psychic rewards for doing household improvements or repairs, but I do for the sort of writing I do professionally, and it is nice getting paid for it. I suppose it is all in what makes you happy. I like building things that will survive my death and there is nothing like stone and concrete for longevity. It is nice not paying for that. |

I never said $$$ was not important...I just don't think it is the most important thing in life, or a significant way to judge the quality of a person. I'm sure Carson will make a ton of money, but he'll still be an overly religious, ignorant, superstitious fachidiot. Heh. Seems like those of us with a more conservative nature are far more open minded, respective and understanding of other people's beliefs than the progressive liberals who live in a simple, binary world. |
