It weighs about 70,000 lbs and even some boat yard travel lifts have
trouble with it.

Do you or do you hire a diver to scrape the bottom on a regular basis?
When I had the Navigator in Florida I used to have a diver scape the
bottom monthly. Of course my situation was different. It sat there in a
slip, unused, during the summer months.

Yes, we have a diver that we use to clean the bottom every month or
two. Since we are about 10 miles up river the water here is a bit
less salty than what you'd experience on the east coast, especially
during the rainy season in the summer. We still have barnacles
however.

Hey what are those floaty things? Is that a BOAT?

LEEPA (the property appraiser) probably has a similar picture for free
;-)

These are my digs, from their site

Wasn't your bayou almost covered over with trees at one time?

It still is. In fact the PBS station had a camera crew here shooting B
Roll for some of their nature shows and they have a shot of my canal,
looking up through the trees that I have seen on TV (out of context)
The open water south of the house is the community boat basin. My lift
is stuffed in up under the coconut trees behind the SE corner of the
screen cage.

Nice place!

The down side is I can't have a nice big boat like Wayne's here.

We are also a tad more "red necky" here compared to the Cape but I am
OK with that.
