Default Our Version of Paradise - the helicopter view

Just got an unexpected knock on the door and it was a guy selling
pictures door-to-door that he takes from his helicopter. It seemed
well composed and nicely framed, so who could resist?

Here's a picture of the pictu

Nice. Quite a few autos in the driveway, huh?

Those helicopter/photographers seem to be popular in Florida.
When I was approaching Jupiter Inlet in the Navigator, one started
flying overhead, then approached low from several angles.

A few weeks later I received a cardboard roll in the mail or UPS or
somebody with several proofs of pictures he took of the boat.
They apparently trace the boat owner by the boat name on the transom
and check to see if it is documented. If so, they get your name and
address. The roll arrived in Massachusetts.

We ordered some and I have a few of the pictures hanging in frames in
the house.

Dick, as an FYI, the picture was taken last January. :-)

Thanks a bunch for that little tidbit of information. :-)

We are expecting our first frost this weekend ... possibly a light freeze.
We had our first frost last night. Going to happen again tonight. I have left the heat on in the boat until I pull her on the 29th.

The trawler only come out of the water once every two or three years.
It weighs about 70,000 lbs and even some boat yard travel lifts have
trouble with it.
