I can't imagine voting for any of the current Republican POTUS wannabes who seem to have a chance at the nomination. "But...but...but Ben Carson is so nice..." for a man who knows absolutely nothing about the Constitution, politics, or geopolitics, and who is a science denier. It's really astounding how far the party has slipped in integrity and from relevance. It's sad because conservatism (in its true form) has a valuable place in our society and our politics. What the Republican party has become has little to do with conservatism, unfortunately. Very true. Very sad. The "Tea Party" movement has destroyed conservatism and thus the Republican Party. That's a label coined by the Democrats, not a movement. |
