Oh wait, one of the heros of the democratic party, none other than
Franklin Delano Roosevelt, was as anti-semetic as they come. And
surely there are just a few racists among the democrats, particularly
at the grass roots level.

FDR and Truman were racist, (like KKK racist). JFK was scarcely
better.
He was drawn kicking and screaming into the civil rights actions in
the south.
