No surgeries since I went through the windshield of my brother-in-laws ambulance in September of 1979. Unfortunately I did lose a couple of chicklets as I hit the windshield and frame on the way out in a highway accident. My hearing is excellent though.

Too stupid to use a seat belt? You never really worked in a noisy
environment from what I gather. Never had to strain yourself as a Crown
Corporation ( government ) employee.

Why do you believe that? Hell, we give prisoners better care than the
indigent. TV, medical, including gender realignment, food, recreation
enters. Even those who should have been executed 30 years previous.
