Trump wants to go after the Mexican government. He's not blaming

1. A racist is someone who discriminates against or hates others because
of their race, typically, and more recently, the word has come to
include discrimination or hate based upon ethnicity, country of origin,
or gender. I don't discriminate or hate anyone because of those factors
and therefore, I am not a racist.

2. There is no question the Republican base is chock full of racists.

3. Your insanity about the Clintons is not worth a comment.

4. I would stop wasting capital on foreign wars and use some of the
savings to defend our borders, devise an accurate way to determine who
is here legally or illegally, deport those who are violent, and
prosecute employers who hire illegals, knowing they are illegal. For
those who are here obeying the laws and working to support their
families, I would establish a reasonable path to citizenship.

illegal immigrants was a few years ago .... back when she would use the
word "illegal":

"I am, you know, adamantly against illegal immigrants. Weve got to do
more at our borders. And people have to stop employing illegal
immigrants.

Almost everyone will say they are "against" illegal immigrants. The real
issue is what they want to do about it.

First of all, you again ignored the issue and conveniently overlooked
Hillary's dishonest comments about Trump and Bush.

Trump wants to go after the Mexican government. He's not blaming
Mexican citizens or even the illegal who jump the border. Does that
make him a racist? That is the topic of this discussion.

Trump is reving up the Republican "base" voters, feeding them what he
thinks they want to hear. The Republican base is racist.

As for the Mexican government, what is Trump going to do? Send drones?
And there's no legitimate evidence the Mexican government is sending in
illegals. What do you expect the Mexican government to do? Erect an Iron Curtain?

Trump wants to win the Iowa GOP primary. I hope he wins all the marbles,
leads the GOP to its worst defeat in history, and splits the party into bits and pieces.

Is Trump a racist? Matters not. What matters is Trump is *using* racism
to rev up his potential voters.

What a racist you are! Bring up racism for everything. Now the Republican
base is all racists according to you. Dumfock. You have Hillary, who is
now pandering to illegal immigration. Even changing her wording. Same
woman who shows a lack of any financial knowledge. A women who with her
husband were both attorneys and pretty much broke until Bill left the
Presidency. Now wants to pay everybody huge a huge salary, regardless of
the jobs worth. Same women who is supporting illegal immigration for
votes, who will not acknowledge that illegals do keep down wages. What
would you do about illegals?

I don't discriminate or hate anyone. Therefore you are a liar.

But we all knew that anyway, right?

How are the owls? Have you painted your Maryland Red barn yet?

And speaking of brain-damaged racist, enter John Herring, stage right.

You've just said more than Hillery has said in the last two months.

the USA. He didn't say anything derogatory about

He's wrong of course, but I don't see he statement as

He's against illegals, but so is the majority of the US
population.

Harry thinks everyone is a racist.
It is just short hand for "I disagree with them".
I totally disagree with the assertion but I think Trump is
just trying
to appeal to the hard hat gang and that crosses racial
lines.
I think the anti-immigrant demographic is the "working
class"
who feel
their job may be in danger.
The ironic thing is, down here, the Latinos are actually
doing jobs
Americans will not do. When it is 95 in the shade, you need
someone

are not
going to be able to deal with it.
A guy who was raised in central Mexico never knew anything

The Mexicans I've hired and seen working seem to have a
tremendous
work ethic. I've
no problem with legal Mexican immigrants. Just their
legality
shows
they're willing
to put forth a lot of effort to get something accomplished.

The illegals? Well, they've already broken the law once.

The liberals would much rather leave the distinction out of
their
comments. Trump
referred to *illegals*, but the liberal media continues to
apply his
comments to
*all* Mexicans. This whole episode is showing how the
liberal
media
can inflame a
situation as it desires.

I agree with you. The dishonesty is just written off as
being
"politics".

You guys think that Trump is only referring to illegals?
Get up
to speed
on GOP "coding."

Is there an official decoder that you use approved and
sanctioned
by the
DNC?

Words matter, as you like to remind everyone. They are
especially
important in politics because they are usually recorded and
available
for public playback at any time. It's what croaked Romney.

There are lists of words Republican candidates use that have
racial,
ethnic, and gender connotations well-known to the GOP "base"
voter
but
which sound innocuous enough. Sometimes they are called "dog
whistle"
words or phrases. Examples: "Where's the original birth
certificate?"
"Death panels" "Urban"

Ad what does your statement have to do with Trump? You're
shifting
off topic, Harry. That statement of yours *looks* like a 'save
face'
comment.

It warms my heart to see Trump get so much support here from the
usual
right-wing suspects.

Trump, by the way, is a big fan of his fellow bigots, Tony Perkins
and
Ralph Reed:

In 2011 Trump declared, "I recently spoke to Ralph Reed and Tony
Perkins
and I was really impressed, they have great reputations and I have
been
hearing about them for years." He added that they were "smart
people."

http://tinyurl.com/psd4ugd

What does that have to do with Trump's stance on illegal
immigrants?

Heheh. Morons. Trump talks about "illegal immigrants" because it
fires
up the base GOP voters...like you. He's an exploiter of labor and
I am
sure he doesn't give a **** about the country of origin of
workers, so
long as they work cheap.

I don't know enough about him to know if your accusations are
valid or
not. I am not a Trump fan. However, the discussion was centered on
whether his recent comments can be considered "racist" or not.

Since you want to deflect ... here's what Hillary said about Trump's
comments ... while also addressing Jeb Bush's position on *illegal*
immigrants:

“They don’t want to provide a path to citizenship. They range
across a
spectrum of being either grudgingly welcome or hostile towards
immigrants.”

John has pointed out the practice of Democrats of leaving out the
word
"illegal". Like you, she tries to deflect and misquote. Neither
Trump
or Bush have ever expressed such positions. To the contrary.

But while we are on the subject, let's see what Hillary's position on
illegal immigrants was a few years ago .... back when she would
use the
word "illegal":

"I am, you know, adamantly against illegal immigrants. We’ve got
to do
more at our borders. And people have to stop employing illegal
immigrants.”

Are your dictionaries telling you a racist is NOT someone who
discriminates against or hates others because of their race? Are you
going down the "racial superiority" route for your definition? That's
the staid old dictionary definition...racial superiority, but that just
masks the hate and discrimination of racists. Claiming

I think he is talking about the part where you redefined it to "the
word has come to include discrimination or hate based upon ethnicity,
country of origin or gender."

If someone doesn't like the Irish, they are racist?

Hating people because of their country of origin or ethnicity is very
similar to racism. Again, it is having that hatred for people because of
their race, ethnicity, country of origin, et cetera, the things about
themselves they are born with, and cannot change. And, no, religion
doesn't fall into that category, because people are not born *with*
religion, and if they become a member of a religious sect, they can
become a member of a completely different religious sect or, more
intelligently, *no* religious sect.
