Bayline and Searay are both owned by the same parent company and share
a lot of manufacturing technology. Searays are finished better and
have better quality hardware however.

Default Production Boat Building...

The 80-90s Bayliners got a bad rap for mediocre construction and styling but they were cheap I guess. This video looks like they're striving to do something better...finally.

The Trophys were nice designed boats. Bad construction, but very nice
lines.

Bill, hopefully they'll strive to improve things.
I know that Bayliners used to have a vary poor reputation. Maybe still do. Even if they improve considerably , it's hard to overcome a bad past.
