Bayline and Searay are both owned by the same parent company and share
a lot of manufacturing technology. Searays are finished better and
have better quality hardware however.

The 80-90s Bayliners got a bad rap for mediocre construction and styling but they were cheap I guess. This video looks like they're striving to do something better...finally.

The Trophys were nice designed boats. Bad construction, but very nice
lines.

Bill, hopefully they'll strive to improve things.
I know that Bayliners used to have a vary poor reputation. Maybe still do. Even if they improve considerably , it's hard to overcome a bad past.

I know several people who are happy with their Bayliners. In the end
it comes down to expectations and how you're going to use the boat.
The larger boats in particular seem to have been better built.

My ex has one, 30 sumpin feet but I think it is basically a barnacle
farm since she got away from being the commander of the CGaux there in
DC.

Does the government subsidize barnacle farms with price supports?
:)
