Homosexuality is not mentioned directly in the four gospels, and it is not found in Hebrews, Revelation, Acts, et cetera. In response to the examples you offered: 1. Leviticus predates Jesus. That’s Strike One for you. 2. Corinthians is attributed to Paul, not Jesus. Strike Two. 3. Romans, again, is the theology of Paul, not Jesus. Strike Three. 4. Leviticus, see 1, above. Predates Jesus. Strike Four. 5. Timothy 1:9-10 does not mention homosexuality, and, of course, it is another text written by Paul, not by Jesus. Strike Five. You’re out. Thank you for playing. === Interesting. Now Harry the putz is a Christian theology expert. What a multitalented but wasted individual. I would like Krausie baby to prove that gayism is neither immoral nor unnatural according to the New Testament. It shouldn't be too tough a task for a bible expert like him, who's read the book cover to cover 3 times. Or did he say he's read from the bible 3 times? Sometines Harry's writings are extremely ambiguous, eh? ;-) Here's the deal. Krause is vehemently anti-Christian. He considers the pizza parlor's non-support of gay weddings to be more abhorrent than the murders of scores of students by Muslims at a Kenyan university. That's a fact. Given his anti-Christian attitude, his life is made even more wretched each day as he looks at the date and realizes the '2015' he sees represents time after the year of the conception or birth of Jesus of Nazareth. The 'Anno Domini' or, more fully, 'Anno Domini Nostri Iesu (or Jesu) Christi' has got to be eating his heart out. Like a pile of dog ****, he's not worth much. I'm not anti-Christian, Johnny the Racist. I'm not anti-Buddhist, anti-Jewish, or anti-Muslim, either. My disdain for religion, any religion, comes from the attempts of its acolytes to force its beliefs on society in general in *this* country. It is self-described Christians who work the hardest at that here in the disUnited States. I don't use A.D., and I don't know anyone else who does. Sometimes I see usage of Common Era. Besides, I'm not offended by Jesus, but I find many of those who claim to be his followers but who are racist trash (like you) offensive. You really went to college, eh? Hard to believe. It's called freedom of speech. If you find what anyone says or does, please feel free to put him /her in your bozos bin. And please stop whining about what you find offensive. You'd be surprised to find out how few people give a **** about your preferences. The Bible does not state every spoken word that Christ ever taught or said to his disciples. One cannot surmise from what may not have been written by his disciples after his crucifixion what he may or may not have said to them throughout their training.
Jesus said that since the beginning of creation, God created them male and female in order that they would be joined together and become one flesh. He adds, "Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate" (Mark 10:9). Marriage between a man and a woman is God's plan since creation. No matter how many laws are passed in favor of gay-marriage, it will not change God's mind. Man often rebels against God; this is nothing new. Like many writings the Bible is subject to interpretation and different people may take different interpretations from the written word. I think Christ was quite clear when he said, God created them male and female in order that they would be joined together and become one flesh. Others may take a different opinion on the writings. |

Your quote about "joining" in marriage refers to quotes attributed to Jesus lifted from Moses regarding divorce, and has nothing to do with homosexuality. I'm not sure how much credence should be given to the accepted gospels, since they were assemblies of folk tales not written down until long after the death of Jesus, and then "adjusted" for conformity and other reasons hundreds of years later. |
