During my time at ULLICO I worked directly for the guy who "rescued" the corporation, and raised a total of $100 million in new funds to help it meet insurance requirements. It was a three year contract for me that got extended to four years, then I bailed out. I had nothing to do with the public corporate "spin" that was issued, but handled all the publications and the internal PR in connection with the fundraising. I got that assignment because the fellow who had been handling it retired after many years of service there. The fellow who took over the chair at ULLICO had his own guy handling the corporate clean-up PR. Thank goodness you two were never in charge of anything, and Wayne was just a bankster junior grade. http://tinyurl.com/mc94tcu So you say your hands are clean of the Uulico misdeeds. Maybe you misspoke just a little? C'mon Harry, truth time. Methinks he doth protest a bit too much. -- Guns don't cause problems. Gun owner *behavior* causes problems. |
