...my low mileage, almost new Ruger GP 100 revolver, 6" barrel,
stainless steel revolver, with hi-viz front sight and hogue grips,
now at $455 bid. If anyone is interested, please let me know. I'll ship
to your FFL and split the UPS charge. Will toss in 100 rounds of factory
.357 MAG ammo, shipped separately. Shoots .357 mag & .38 special plus.
If that falls through I think I was at $151.50 ;-)
Probably too strong a gun for a guy like you. ?
I have had one for almost 50 years. Never had a problem shooting it,
with stuff a lot hotter than you can buy. I did load up some stuff
that would be great in your LE tho. It was a bit to slow a powder even
for the 6" bbl I was shooting (4227) but in a carbine it would really
step out.
I was pushing a 146gr JHP at around 1625 with a lot of unburned powder
blast.and I bet it would be more like 1800-1900 out of a carbine.
That is getting you up in the 30-30/7.62x39 range when you factor in
the cross sectional density.
I was kidding of course about your "inability" to shoot the revolver.
These 6" Rugers are soft shooters.
