Scout expanded their manufacturing facility in Summerville, SC to start building this boat and a couple of 30 something footers as well. Wow, what a boat!

Scout has always made some interesting fishing boats, but the idea of a
boat that size and weight with four 300+ gasoline outboards on it can
only make the oil companies smile. :)

I'd think though that if you can afford the boat then you can afford the fuel. At least for the moment.

Looks too 'Italian Riviera' to me.

That is why they make the 7 Marine ;-)
Two of them would make this a pretty fast boat.
Three would make it really fast.

Like Tim says, if money is an issue, you would not be buying this.

Well, i think the decision regarding the fuel burn should involved more
than "can I afford the gasoline."

I had a small Scout Center Console ... 19.5' if I remember correctly.
Very nice boat, well built, no wood anywhere, high end hardware.
Fit and finish was excellent.

I had it stored at a rack storage facility in Florida and some rodents
got in it and chewed a bunch of wiring up. Then the storage place went
belly-up and everything in it was frozen by their bank until the
bankruptcy proceedings were completed. We had sold the houses in
Florida and I wanted to tow it back to MA. Took some doing but I
sneaked into the place, hooked the trailer up to my truck and hauled
it out of there with the owner of the place jumping up and down and
hollering at me.

Greg I can see that. There was a recent story of a guy that had some big blue water battle wagon moored somewhere and forgot he even had it for about two years. His financial 'group' kept paying the fees...

You are lucky he wasn't standing his ground, or Mrs. Luddite could have
been an unmerry widow. :(

Richard I'm surprised he didn't have you arrested for taking 'seized property'
