Get me a few cigars in Cuba. I guess you'll be making a trip there now.
(If we don't get together, give them to somebody else. No big deal.)

I'll see what I can do. It has always been possible to buy Cuban
cigars in the Bahamas but technically illegal to bring them back to
the US.

I have to read the fine print in the announcement to see if all
cruising restrictions will be lifted. If so I'll try to get there
this year before it becomes totally mobbed. It's a one day run for us
from the Florida Keys. There might also be bargains on Venezuelan
diesel fuel but I don't know that for sure.

You could probably make more if you just loaded the boat back with real
Cubans (people) than cigars

Looks like it's gonna' make it ok to bring back 100 dollars worth of
Tobacco.. if I heard right.

Cuban cigars in the Bahamas are about $15 each so that's not a lot of
smokes.

Cuban cigars have always been available in our more civilized neighbor
to the north...Canada, and the more ordinary Cuban cigars are a lot less
than $15 each. There are some in the Montecristo line for half that.

No, I don't smoke them. But I know someone who does.

We always knew the US and Cuba relationship would normalize but I was hoping to get down there for a visit before it became 'mericanized.
My son got back from there a few weeks ago but I haven't seen any pictures yet.

You certainly want to get there before the U.S. corporationists get
there en masse.

Bahamian "Cuban" cigars were mostly fake. Much like grouper fillets
lately here in the US.
