Good grief, don't you guys have anything better to do?

This is a good time of year for planning and preparing for next
season's boating adventures. Hopefully some of you pull away from
your keyboards long enough to do a little of that.

Carry on.

My boating adventures don't take that much planning

Drop the lift
Get on the boat
Poke around the bay for a while
Pick the boat up
Go back up to the house and jump in the pool.

This time of year I skip the "pool" part.

I do not have it that easy. But not far to SF Bay and the Sacramento Delta
for boating. But like to look at some other areas, and Vancouver Island
and vicinity is a gorgeous boating area. Especially the East side of the
island as it is most protected waters. Some places like Bute and Knight
Inlets can get rough as the winds can come down the inlet.
