Harry you have some nice guns. But a question- I could understand at maybe 300 yards, but do you need scopes to hit at up to 300 ft. ? It depends on what I am trying to hit, eh? I can easily and consistently hit a 6" in diameter metal "gong" plate at 100 yards with any of the rifles, unassisted by a visual "aid" beyond standard iron sights. But mostly I am trying to land my shots within 2" or less of each other on a small paper target taped to a piece of cardboard. I need to use a scope for that. I only have one scope, the one you see on the AR15/.22LR firearm. Typically, on that rifle, the scope is sighted some inches higher than the actual center of my target, to allow for bullet drop. If I move the scope over to the other AR, the sight problem is the opposite. The other two sighting devices are non-magnifying red dot sights. -- I feel no need to explain my politics to stupid right-wingers. After all, I am *not* the Jackass Whisperer. |
