Perhaps you can buy yourself a pair of nuts...

Just because you are opposed to abortion doesn’t make you pro-life. Your
morality is deeply lacking if all you want is a child born but not a
child fed, not a child educated, not a child housed, not a child
clothed, not a child able to see the doctor. That’s not pro-life…that’s
pro-birth.

I'll give you that one. Even an asshole can come up with a good joke
once in a while.

Good to know. I didn't try them or HD 'cause I figured they wouldn't
have them - or I'd have to buy a hundred at a time.

HD and Lowes are just the opposite. If they have the bolts you want
they only have a few and they are expensive. Locally I go to Ace
Hardware for bolts and screws. You can buy one or a big box, your
choice and they have a far better selection, including stainless and
chrome plated.
Since these stores are a franchise, YMMV
Online McMaster Carr is probably the best outfit with the biggest
selection. Some years ago when I was looking for an unusual metric
bolt, I ended up ordering them from Europe. (12mm x 200mm stainless)

We used to have Fischer's, where one of anything could be bought.
Don't have a close Ace. I weigh the difference between postage and
fuel...and the weather. Been a bit cool for motorcycles.

Fastenal is probably the best these days.

I toured a RV factory recently. Fastenal had vending machines at various
locations in the factory, dispensing consumable tools, parts, and
supplies. Fastenal restocked the machines and provided the mfr.with
usage reports including employee information.
