You can then roll it forwards and backwards on your screen. It is very useful for spotting weather systems as they are first developing. The professional meteorologists use the same data but they have accesss to many different models. RADAR is very good for the near future. Beyond that you need a weather model. That's what the NHC does and all of the popular weather sites. |
