Hi everyone,
I'm thinking about buying a sit-on kayak in the near future. Spotted an Ocean Kayak "Scrambler" on the beach at Newton-by-the-Sea in Northumberland at weekend but didn't think to ask the owner where he bought it from. Do any of you know where I can see some sit-ons before I buy in the north east. I'm based in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Altternatively, do you know of any second-hand stockists or websites (apart the usual ebay) Many thanks. -- Regards, Simon Mc (remove "nospam" to reply) |

if you are in Lake District, try windermere canoe and cycle,
http://www.windermerecanoecycle.co.uk/ sit upons better suited to inland waters of Lakes. They do hire and are on water's edge, but don't sell ice creams :-( more west pennine links at CumbriaCanoeists.org.uk hope that helps Simon Mc wrote: Hi everyone, I'm thinking about buying a sit-on kayak in the near future.
