Voting is a right but also has some responsibility that goes with it.
If you are a citizen and can't meet the most basic, minimal requirements
to register then you don't deserve to vote.

Legal voters have no problem registering or voting, period. The ONLY
reason democrats want unregulated voter registration is so they can
flood the booth with fraudulent votes. Pretty organized really, like

I just posted an image of the postcard form anyone can use to register
to vote by mail. There are no documents required. Not even a driver's
license or social security number. No visits to the registrar's office.

All you have to do is swear that you are a citizen and are 18 years of
age or older and provide a mailing address.

You don't even need to be literate. In the space for your signature it
says to sign your full name or "make your mark".

Groups siding with the New Georgia Project, which says it has obtained
voter registration forms for more than 86,000 new voters, filed a
lawsuit against Secretary of State Brian Kemp and five Georgia counties
over some 40,000 forms which it says haven’t been processed and don’t
show up in a list of people who are waiting processing.

The suit was filed Friday afternoon in Fulton County Superior Court.
Politico quotes New Georgia Project leader Stacey Abrams as saying,

“We hoped litigation would not be necessary, but with early voting
beginning next week, eligible Georgians are dangerously close to not
being allowed to vote in this election,” said state Rep. Stacey Abrams,
founder of Third Sector Development, NGP’s parent group. “All eligible
registrants should be processed immediately; provisional voting is not
an acceptable option,”

The Secretary of State’s office claims it is following the law. In
previous statements, Secretary of State Brian Kemp has said that all of
the applications have been delivered to the appropriate counties for
processing.

Advance In Person voting starts on Monday, and continues through Halloween.

gain a political advantage in some areas. It may be controversial but
it's legal.

Republican Illinois state House candidate Jim Moynihan was taken
aback
Monday when he intended to cast a vote for himself and the
touch-screen
voting machine instead cast a vote for a Democrat.

“While early voting at the Schaumburg Public Library today, I
tried to
cast a vote for myself and instead it cast the vote for my
opponent,�
Moynihan told the Illinois Review. “You could imagine my surprise
as the
same thing happened with a number of races when I tried to vote
for a
Republican and the machine registered a vote for a Democrat.�

Accordingly his faith in the balloting system of Cook County has
been
shaken, the Illinois Review reported.

While using the machine, Moynihan voted in various races on the
ballot
and noticed that whenever he voted for a Republican the machine
registered a vote for the Democrat opponent. He alerted the
election
judge and demonstrated the error. Eventually, Moynihan was
allowed to
vote for himself and other Republicans.

“Clearly, I am concerned that citizens will be unable to vote for
the
candidate of their choice, especially if they are in a hurry and
do not
double check their ballot,� Moynihan said. “I cannot say whether
or not
this was intentional, but Cook County voters deserve better and
should
not have their right to vote suppressed.�

If this happened in Florida it would be a national story, not
something buried on an obscure boating news group.
I just watched 2 hours of TV news and didn't see a thing about it.


Voter suppression in Republican states is more sophisticated...shut
down
polling places where students vote, cut back voting hours and days
that
make it easier for blacks to vote, et cetera.

If you want to vote, request a mail in ballot and you can vote without
ever putting your pants on or setting down the bong.

There are early voting places all over the county with very flexible
hours.

It has never been easier to vote in Florida

That is right, postage paid envelope in the package.
and once you register for a mail in ballot you have the opportunity to
check a box and get a ballot automatically in the mail for every
subsequent election, in case you forget there is one.

The idea that voting is hard or even obstructed in any way is simply
ludicrous. If anything, it is too easy.

Uh, no, it isn't easy to do, despite what your URL says. There are people
in this country who simply do not have the documents necessary or the
ability to get to the registrar's office or to fight a bureaucracy that
wants to keep them from voting.


78% of the people in the country use the internet according to government
report. Eliminate young children and most everyone has access. And with
Community Organizers paid for by the taxpayers, no reason to have an excuse
other than laziness to not be registered if entitled to be registered.

you did at ullico? With motor voter laws, these days, hard to not be
registered. Even registered more than once. Why do we have any Democrats
