Damn, I can still remember when you could get 2 eggs with bacon, toast
and coffee for a buck.


Back in the 1960s there was a great restaurant in Kansas City where you
could get two eggs, bacon, toast, coffee and homefries for 99 cents, and
many pretty good steakhouses where you could get a nice salad, steak,
baked potato and green veggie for $2.49, and I don't mean joints like
"Golden Corral."
