" You might be the only person here who reads/comments on Slammer's posts... " I have a bad habit of wanting to jab at the raving lunatic to get him to rant and rave even more. Maybe it comes from growing up down near the docks where there was always no shortage of these kind of characters who after a couple bottles of cheap wine, felt they could take on the world. |

Unfortunately they do not do as well on the other ammo I use. I guess I might get some ammo for that saturday night special I have tho. Some of the low-priced, reliable sites are not on the internet ammo searcher tools. Also, if you buy from the sites, keep an eye on what they charge for shipping. Some are reasonable and others are rip off artists. I bought a good deal of ammo for my AR from Cabelas. Good prices for ordinary, U.S.-made FMJs and honest shipping charges. I just bought 1000 9mm from BulkAmmo and it was $211 shipped. Not quite 20c but close, These are Berdan primed steel but I m not reloading anyway. Russian Berdan primed? Buy a jug of CLP...it's pretty dirty stuff. |

When it is sold as a pistol, you get the "brace" but if you are willing (or even unwilling) to get the AOW stamp, there is a collapsible or a fixed shoulder stock available, It's a perfect concealed carry "pistol" for paranoid right-wing assholes. |

http://www.guns.com/2014/09/11/sig-a...g-553-pistols/ I bought the railed model. It's going for nearly $1000 more already on the secondary market. I didn't plan to shoot it and bought it for my collection. My concern is that there is a warranty so maybe I should put a few rounds through it to make sure all is well. On the other hand, it would no longer be an unfired gun - outside of the factory. If the prices don't move up significantly I will keep it forever so that's less of an issue. I guess I'll watch the prices during the warranty period and decide what to do. Good find and congratulations! If I had decided to keep it forever, I'd be shooting the hell out of it. |

So much so that they need to define the loophole, in case some cop doesn't have that sharp a pencil. It's a pistol. If you choose to attach the brace then it's up for debate. I have an AK pistol, too. Cheap to buy and fun to shoot: http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/product/7-GHG3089N |
