To haul a real boat you need a real truck

Here's what EDMUNDS SAYS ABOUT ONE OF THE IMPOSTERS
Criticisms include the Ridgeline's aversion to off-road adventures,
where its lack of a low-range gear and a tendency to bottom out don't
help when tackling more rugged trails. Fuel economy for a V6-powered
pickup is also disappointing.

If these shortcomings are meaningful to you, then you'll want to
consider a pickup with true truck DNA. But if all you really need is the
passenger space of an SUV and the utility of a pickup truck, the
Ridgeline is an excellent choice.

We took a Kia Sorento on some off road adventures in Montana. I can't
say it was suited to the task but we made it back. I did buy the
insurance and it wasn't my car so we just went with it.
There was a lot of scraping and banging.

Is FlaJim planning to take his self-propelled tin motel room offroad on
some rugged trails?

No but it does afford me a closer up view of America than you get while
on your fabled American flyovers.

Speaking of RVs, I had my antenna replaced with a Windgard Sensar IV that folks down on the roof.
Hopefully I won't rip it off. Gets good reception too.

Going back down to Solomons Navy Rec Center with the kids and grandkids next week. Have to go
through Huntingtown, but we keep the windows up.

Trailer trash in my county...alas...but at least they keep you behind a
locked gate, eh?

Imagine Johnny showing up at your place with the trailer.
Reminds me of that Chevy Chase movie where the redneck brother in law pulls up and parks on the street in front of the house.

Herring wouldn't like our street. We have some folks in the neighborhood
with dark skin.

You've mentioned that before on several occasions. What's your point?

Must bother the hell out of him. He should try meeting them. Maybe he'd actually find someone to
befriend him. Doubtful though.
