I think the problems we face in this country have no relationship to a political party. They are mostly economic driven by a growing global economy with the USA facing (for the first time in it's history) a serious decline in decent jobs, a decline in our technical leadership and a decline in our overall global influence. Frustration is rampant. Finger pointing and laying blame. Polarization. Malaise al la Jimmy Carter days. To me, that's the state of the nation. We need real *leadership* and a plan to bring jobs back and re-establish this country as a major world power. To date, neither party has come forth with anything to work towards that goal. |
